How To Mail Order

Step One Find the plants you wish to purchase.
Please refer to the various listings we have on other pages (also given links below). Or, if you need guidance, call us and we can usually pick out the plants you are looking for. Our plants are typically very large for their container size and are beautifully grown. Most of our customers comment on the great quality of our plants. All plants have typically seen a low of 38 degrees during the winter. Most palm/cycad enthusiasts have very good luck with our plants.

Step Two Contact us to confirm availability.
You can do this by phone, fax, or email. We will contact you to reconfirm plant availability. We will pick you the largest plant available in the size you selected. Remember there is a minimum on mail orders of $100.00 plus shipping and handling. (see explanation below). Remember, to most distant areas we do not ship during the cold parts of Winter. It's just too risky.

Step Three Place your order via email, fax or phone.
We prefer that you call us so we can make sure you get exactly what you want. It's also safest for credit card information. Let us know the plant name, size and quantity desired. Give your name, telephone/fax number, shipping address and method of payment. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, personal checks and money orders/cashier's checks. Credit cards can be phoned in or faxed to us. Remember that some states require a Phytosanitary Permit issued by the Agriculture Department.

Step Four Your plants are shipped.
We'll package your plants bare root for shipping via ground service or 2nd day express carrier (or quicker if you chose). Your charges will include the price of the plants, actual shipping charges and a handling/box fee (typically $20-25 per box) to cover the materials and labor involved in the preparation of your plants for shipping. We have found that Federal Express is the most reliable form of transport and will deliver plants reliably and quickly. Flash! We can now ship some plants up to 15 gallon size in the containers into many States. It is expensive to do, but can be done. For those in colder areas, this gives you a "head start" on the upcoming winter. Call for details.

	How To Mail Order Mail orders are possible to all states within the United States during the warmer months from March through November. There is a limit to the size that we can ship. If you are close to California, we can ship year round. Basically, it's as simple as just calling us at 619 291 4605 and ask if we have what you want.. We field calls during work hours and early evening Pacific Coast time. The best time to call is about 8:30 AM. We ship to all States including Florida and Hawaii but we do not ship internationally. Sorry.

Why we have a minimum order?

Simply put, because we offer a great product and the best service and delivery around. The staff that prepare your order are professionals. Every order gets special attention. We do not utilize the U.S. Postal Service with their unreliability and slow service. We only utilize Federal Express or DHL. Orders are quickly processed and prepared for shipping. We feel we do the best job around at packing our plants. Also, with our mail order you are paying the same price as someone who walks into the nursery. Our "bands" are usually bigger than other company's one gallons. So, why a minimum? Because such quality material and service by professional plant people doesn't come for free. We think people who select our plants want the best plants and the best service around. This is why we keep getting repeat business from our existing customers.
