 Medium to fat in size.

Large, glossy-green, palmate (fan shape) leaves.

Solitary (single trunk).

Maintenance:

Easy

Speed of growth:

Slow to medium.

Height:

Up to 30' feet.

Soil requirements:

Sandy, good drainage.

Sun Requirements:

Full sun.

General Description:

A very nice palm because of the glossy green leaves that are slightly glaucous underneath, it has minimal/no armor (spines) on the petiole (leafstalk). 

Other Notes:

A very gorgeous palm when grown in filtered light.  Has large, flat, glossy leaves somewhat reminiscent of a more tropical palm.  Desirable.
